YOSHI MATSUURA; 

Chiang Mai & Bali trained, Traditional massage therapist 

I am a male, massage practitioner, fully qualified in Chiang Mai Style Traditional Massage and Balinese therapies.

Currently I am based at the Saville Clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne and the Helios Centre in London.

 
I was trained traditional northern massage "Nuad Bo Rarn", foot reflexology, hot herbal treatment and several other treatments at respected institutions in Chiang Mai, an attractive historical city in north of Thailand. There are hundreds of Buddhist temples inside and outside of the old city. The city is popular for its unique culture, handcrafts and its own massage style (Chiang Mai Style Massage).

 
Massage has been a part of Thai culture for centuries. Techniques from both the Indian and Chinese systems have converged in Thailand, combining to give rise to traditional Thai Massage.  Thai people do love massage.  Whenever they can, they stop for foot massage or thai massage.  They know how beneficial massage treatment can be.  No wonder why they are smiley, energetic and healthy. 

 
I have fallen in love with Thai massage for many years and ended up becoming a practitioner.  I do go back to Chiang Mai for a few months every year for further training.  Thanks to my teachers in Chiang Mai.  The town has become one of very important places for me.   I found this massage very relaxing and beneficial for well-being (and addictive!). I feel it is one of the most comfortable forms of massage therapy.
